The AccuLIF Expandable TLIF and PLIF spacer was initially acquired by Stryker in 2014 from CoAlign Innovations. The AccuLIF was meant to expand the MIS fusion options. The AccuLIF TLIF and PLIF Spacer features a titanium body and hydraulically expanded plate with a mechnically locking mechanism to restore inter-vertebral height.
The AccuLIF was removed from the market July 2016 due to concerns with mechanical failure causing the cage height to decrease after implantation more than 1mm
